Twenty-two years ago, on July 26, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed.  President Obama issued a proclamation to observe the day.  And on this anniversary, the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) is one step closer to being ratified by the US.  It is now entering its final stage for a full floor vote in the Senate, maybe before the August recess.  For the latest news on the CRPD vote, click here.
