Please join Marjorie Book Continuing Education as they perform Nancy Pahl Gilsenan’s Beloved Friend on Thursday, July 12 and Friday, July 13 at 7:30p.m. at Cincinnati Museum Center’s Reakirt Auditorium.

Admission is $10 or pay what you can. The July 13th performance will include signed interpretation for the deaf. All performances will include audio description for the blind.
Set from 1966-1982, two young people, oceans apart, form a friendship as penpals. The exchange of letters between Minneapolis, Minnesota and Rhodesia, Africa result in dramatic developments. For Kristin, life in Minnesota is comfortable, shaped by affluence. Ra, struggles in Rhodesia against poverty, indignity and through civil war. As both mature, they grow closer together, having an important impact on each others lives.
