Event Date(s): March 2, 2013 -
11:00 to 14:00

Day of Arts for All 2013 promises to be an awesome event this year as we celebrate its 5 year anniversary! Join us in kicking off this coming year's Accessible Expressions 2013 Tour as well as in recognizing the 2013 Young Soloist award winners. See below for more details about this year's festivities and check back frequently as we will be updating it as the event nears!

We have confirmed all of the components for Day of Arts for All 2013!
In addition to awards for artists and Young Soloist performances, we will also be hosting a talented guest speaker, youth poet Justin Martin. You might remember him from ReelAbilities Columbus 2012 as he was part of the performance lineup for that event.
For a more hands-on and creative experience, there will also be a collaborative art-making project occuring in the Rotunda from 11:00am-2:00pm throughout the event. This project, led by local artist Eric Marlow, will consist of making flowers for a sculpture that will be installed permanently at the Community Center.
Prior to the ceremony, the Professional Development workshop for this year's Day of Arts for All is happening and is open to all artists free of charge. Come to the Westerville Community Center at 9:00 am on March 2 prior to the start of the Celebration at 11:00am for a workshop led by Esther Hall of the Ohio Art League, Professional Artist Deric Gill, and Cultural Arts Center representative Eric Rausch. The topic of the workshop will be Best Practices for Marketing Your Art to Galleries and Display Sites. The workshop is free but you must reserve a spot by emailing Morgan at mgreen@vsao.org.

Below is an image of the intinerary that lists all of the day's programming components.
