The ReelAbilities Columbus Disabilities Film Festival is two months away!! We have been developing some awesome programming as part of the festival and this blogpost will serve as a bit of a teaser. See below for more details on specific speakers, workshops, and events we are planning...

Last week I was fortunate enough to be able to drop in on an animation workshop being conducted at the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence that was led by 17 year-old Dani Bowman, an artist and entrepreneur on the spectrum based in California.

The Open Door Art Studio of Columbus, Ohio welcomes a new show to its gallery space that will be up from August 11th through September 21st, 2012. I was fortunate enough to be able to volunteer at the opening receiption for this event and was amazed at the diverse showing of visitors from all over the state.

Franklin County Board of Developmental Disability Theater Program is currently seeking volunteers and actors/actresses for upcoming productions next year.
