Ohio artist, Henry Hess, hard at work


 
The 2016 Arts and Autism Conference is offering a $500 scholarship, sponsored by the Ohio Arts Council, for the artwork that best considers and visualizes our conference themes: Creating, Living, Learning, Your artwork will be used on flyers and promotional materials, and you will be fully credited - this is a great opportunity for anyone aspiring to a career in the arts.
 
Submissions must be a digital image (300 dpi minimum). This might be a piece of digital art, or a photograph of something you’ve done in another medium. This scholarship is open to artists of all ages, across Ohio, but entrants must be on the autism spectrum.
 
If you have artwork you’d like to share with an audience of hundreds, please send an entry, or question, to submissions@vsao.org by March 14th.
 
There is no entry fee.
 
Please include the following in your email:
 
• Name
 
• Age
 
• Address
 
• Email address
 
• Name of parent/guardian (if under 16; signifies approval)
 
• 100 words about yourself
 
• Digital image of the artwork (300 dpi minimum; required for print quality)
 
The winner will be notified by the end of March, and will sign a basic licensing agreement before the art is used.
